Agua Fria Engineering is a professional civil engineering firm based in the historic Village of Agua Fria, along the Santa Fe River in Northern, New Mexico.
We provide engineering services with a focus on water and civil infrastructure to local government organizations, state agencies, tribal governments, and federal organizations to deliver practical, place-based solutions that support the local communities in New Mexico and the Southern Rock Mountain Region.
Principal, P.E.
Andy is the founding member of Agua Fria Engineering. With nearly a decade of experience working in the field of water resources engineering, Andy has worked extensively on acequia infrastructure projects, stream restoration, water supply, and civil engineering design projects throughout the Southwest and Upper Midwest.
Prior to his engineering career, Andy served 10-years active duty in the United States Coast Guard, where his time as a Boatswains Mate and Environmental Response Technician with the Pacific Strike Team sparked his passion for engineering and all things water related.
Andy holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth, along with post-baccalaureate certificates in Geographic Information Systems and Stream Restoration Science.
